A series of short sightseeing and shopping trips from Singapore to neighboring Malaysia which lies just at the border. We managed to squeeze in a day trip to Johor while Malacca was with an overnight stay.
Johor, being the largest city in Malaysia, is linked to Singapore by a Causeway bridge and is easily accessible with a bus. We did a few day trips to Johor to enjoy watching movies and dining as well as just to have a quick experience of a different environment.
In Malacca, we took a 4h bus journey to explore the rich colonial and traditional history in this town. We learnt quite a lot and enjoyed the sights of historical buildings and structures especially the presence of ruins from this city’s past.
