We had an exciting time discovering places of historical and political significance there as well as traditional Chinese cultural architecture. The winter weather was, however, to put in plainly…………harsh! We ended our trip here nicely with a visit to the Beijing Zoo to see the pandas but alas we could only see them from behind the glass walls. We wish, though, in future, there would be sessions where visitors could be given the opportunity to cuddle or feed the pandas. They were so cute indeed!
